Platform SKYLIFT

The Stertil-Koni platform SKYLIFT construction offers freedom of movement for the mechanic under the platform; ease of operation with our compact, ebright, colour touch-screen control box and self-diagnostics system; increased safety with independent mechanical locking fully active after platform raises only 90mm from floor level. Also there is a built-in overload mechanism. The SKYLIFT can be extended with a special synchronisation set between the two lifts, allowing platform lengths up to 30 metres with a total lifting capacity of 70t.

Freedom of Movement

No overhang, no crossbeams, no base frame and four independent support legs; providing optimal working space for the mechanic in and around the lift. The Stertil-Koni SKYLIFT has an innovative Y-shaped construction which makes it both robust and at the same time stream-lined for optimum space-saving.

The clever patented design means that the supporting base plates effectively divert the forces to ground and this coupled with a light-weight construction results in a modern-looking and efficient lifting system.

Flexible & Versatile for all workshops

The SKYLIFT is available in a variety of models suitable for not only a wide range of vehicles but also for a wide range of workshop situations. Do you have an existing workshop and don't want any disruption from civil works? Then, there is the surface-mounted platform SKYLIFT model.

For refurbishments or for new workshops there is the SKYLIFT flush-mounted version and even a hybrid model, the semi-flush-mounted version. When you need the lift to be installed outside there is the water-resistant, anti-corrosion, hot-dipped galvanised steel platforms, washbay version. Please take a look at the features of these various models below.

Flush-Mounted

The SKYLIFT flush mounted installation has obstacle-free access. The drive-on platforms are flush with the workshop floor, ideal for low clearance vehicles. The lifting height of the lift remains 1750 mm. An automatic recess coverplate system is available. Space saving as no drive-on ramps are required.

Semi-Flush-Mounted

The SKYLIFT semi-flush mounted installation has an extremely low drive-on height of just 260 mm as a result of the special 90 mm recesses for all four of the lift supports.

Surface-Mounted

The SKYLIFT surface mounted model can be installed without any special constructional preparations. This results in an optimal workspace for the mechanics under the raised lift. Transmission jacks, oil drainers etc can be easily located under the vehicle.

Water-Resistant Washbay

The SKYLIFT washbay model is water-resistant supplied with fully hot-dip galvanised platforms with an anti-corrosion coating and stainless steel ebright control panel.

Easy & Quick Installation

Did you know that the the Heavy-Duty SKYLIFT requires only 16 installation anchors in the floor? For a platform lift of this calibre the installation is so easy that you can keep your workshop open whilst having your new vehicle lift installed.

Reverse Roll-off Protection Video

For all Stertil-Koni platform SKYLIFT models there is an optional reverse roll-off protection system available, preventing potential workshop floor damage and reducing any drive on/off noise. This also extends the actual effective platform length by 480 mm.

Safe Workspace

The SKYLIFT has enough headroom to work comfortably underneath the lift with a generous vehicle lifting height of 1.75m. Additionally the maximum lifting height can be programmed to suit individual installations. The SKYLIFT flush-mounted version has optional recess cover plates which automatically raise up with the lift so that the recesses are filled in and minimal gaps are left behind. This ensures your mechanics can work safely in, around and most importantly, under the lift.

Long, Longer, Longest....

The Stertil-Koni SKYLIFT can be configured to be up to 30 metres long with a total lifting capacity of 70t. With the specially designed synchronisation and a bridging set, two SKYLIFT platform lifts can simply be used as either one long lift, or as two separate lifts.

*NEW* - Fitting Reverse Roll-off Protection pieces at the ends of the platforms removes the need for a bridging set bolted to the floor.

Extra Extensions

The SKYLIFT platforms can be extended by mounting extensions on one or both sides of the platform. You can choose to order this with your new lift or just as easily have this retro-fitted if your lifting requirements change over time, or if you are expanding your workshop facilities.
