Stertil-Koni UK Announces the Retirement of General Manager Tony Edge

After more than 30 years of outstanding service, Stertil-Koni announces the retirement of Tony Edge, who will be stepping down from his role as General Manager at the end of July 2025.

Tony’s retirement marks the close of a long and impactful career that has left a lasting legacy at Stertil-Koni and within the commercial vehicle lifting industry. His leadership, knowledge, and dedication have been instrumental to the success of the Koni business in the UK.

Tony’s career began in the British Army, where he served for over seven years in the Royal Engineers as a Plant Engineer. Upon leaving military service, he entered the commercial sector, taking on sales and key account roles at Concept and Bradbury. In 1994, he joined Stertil, where he would go on to lead the Koni division for more than three decades.

Throughout his tenure, Tony brought a wealth of technical expertise and a deep understanding of the industry. He earned widespread respect for his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to building strong, lasting relationships with colleagues, distributors, and partners alike.

Under Tony’s leadership, Stertil-Koni has gone from strength to strength. His strategic insight and collaborative approach have not only shaped the growth of the Koni business but have also had a meaningful influence on the wider industry.
