Coach holiday specialist Jason Edwards Travel has chosen Stertil-Koni’s powerful mobile column lifts to enhance efficiency and safety at their new workshop near Heathrow.

The supplied lifts consist of six Stertil-Koni ST1075FSA mobile columns with a combined lifting capacity of 30 tonnes. This makes the lifts perfectly suited to the demands of servicing large commercial vehicles such as buses and coaches, providing the reliability and strength essential for maintaining a busy fleet.

One of the standout advantages of the ST1075FSA columns is the ebright Smart Control System. This innovative feature allows engineers to operate the lifts either individually or simultaneously through intuitive touch screen consoles. The result? Streamlined operations that minimise downtime and maximise productivity.

To further support workshop operations, the company also invested in a range of axle stands in various sizes. These stands offer versatility, enabling free wheel support when the mobile columns are removed or providing additional stability during lift operations. This flexibility enhances both safety and efficiency, ensuring smooth workflow management.

Each column is equipped with an independent mechanical locking system to securely hold vehicles in place and a microprocessor-controlled synchronisation feature that ensures smooth, accurate lifting. Combined with an impressive lifting speed of just 75 seconds to a height of 1.85 metres, these features significantly boost operational efficiency.

Powered by a standard 415V supply, the cabled lifts ensure reliable performance with heavy-duty communication cables that maintain robust connectivity. Maintenance is also hassle-free, thanks to the columns’ synthetic runner wheels and hydraulic pallet truck mechanism, which make them easy to manoeuvre and durable for long-term use.
