For over 40 years J&M Morgan of Burscough, near Ormskirk have been keeping Commercial Vehicles in working order throughout the North West of England. They have an experienced team of engineers equipped with the very latest tools and technology to quickly detect and diagnose defects that may prevent commercial wheels from turning. Their latest investment is a quality heavy-duty washbay lift from Northampton-based commercial vehicle lift manufacturer Stertil-Koni.
Offering a lifting capacity of 35 tonnes, the 10m long SKYLIFT 350 is installed in a shallow recess, flush with the washbay area floor. Recessing the lift allowed J&M Morgan to save space as they no longer required the lengthy run-up ramps associated with a surface-mounted version of the lift. The hot-dip galvanised platforms, along with the marine coating on the lifting legs and stainless-steel bushes, offer maximum protection within the harsh environment of a commercial vehicle washbay.
Located in an outside washbay area, the heavy duty, electro-hydraulic SKYLIFT® is operated via an adjacent stainless steel control console. Also, since the lift is electronically controlled, a number of specific requirements may be programmed into its operation whilst an internal patented ebright display provides constant system information.
Easily installed, moved and maintained, the SKYLIFT is the ultimate lift in terms of efficiency, versatility and safety. Its narrow width and varying platform lengths accommodate any vehicle including lorries, buses and coaches, connected tractor/trailer units and articulated buses whilst remaining unobstructed from all sides.
