Stertil Koni unveils ebright and DIAMONDLIFT at CV show

Leading vehicle lift manufacturer Stertil Koni have introduced two new products to the UK market at this year’s CV Show. Sharing the limelight at the NEC on stand 4G90 were the company’s new eBright Smart Control System and the versatile in-ground DiamondLift. 

Featuring full-colour touch screen control consoles, eBright has been designed and developed to simplify operation of the Stertil Koni range of wireless mobile column lifts. The eBright Smart Control System provides intuitive ease of use with maximum visual information about every lifting operation – all at the fingertips of the technician.

Features of the eBright Smart control System include: 

• A high resolution, brightly illuminated, full-colour 7” screen 

• Touch screen control, even when the technician is wearing gloves 

• Owner/user configurable options such as choice of language and personalised ID key to prevent unauthorised use 

• Presentation of all relevant information at a glance 

• Up to 32 mobile columns fully synchronised in a single set

For added safety and performance, the eBright Smart Control System also shows how many columns in the set are being used, the individual load on each column in the set (when load cells are fitted), the battery status of each column and when the mechanical locks are engaged. 

The other half of the new Stertil Koni duo that was launched at the CV Show is the company’s DiamondLift in-ground lift. This innovative model is available in both steel cassette and frame versions to ensure suitability in different installation environments. This flexibility is complemented by a choice of length and travel positions to accommodate a wide range of commercial vehicles. Also, depending on the application, the lift may be specified with two or three 15,000kg capacity lifting rams to provide a maximum lifting capacity of 45,000kg.

Operation of the lift is controlled by an above ground console, featuring simple push buttons, to protect against the problems associated with in-pit controls such as humidity and debris. The DiamondLift also features automatic and independent locking mechanisms on each ram to ensure complete safety during lifting operations. Utilising a mere 18 litres of biodegradable oil per lifting ram, the lift also relies upon self-lubricating sliding blocks in place of rollers to achieve optimum load distribution.

The DiamondLift may be specified with a range of standard and optional ancillaries including an aluminium rolling cover, a fully-integrated steel cover plate system, a comprehensive adapter package and a hand-held automatic remote control.
